01 - In a large bowl, combine warm milk, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until mixture becomes foamy.
02 - Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until fully blended.
03 - Gradually add all-purpose flour to the wet mixture, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon or dough hook until a soft dough forms.
04 - Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 8 to 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic, or use a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook.
05 - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm environment for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
